Help Macmillan nurses!

So, as you all know, we have recently had the biggest coffe morning in the world to raise money for Macmillan nurses! At our school we got hot chocolate and biscuits for 20p. I was so pleased that people were helping the Macmillan nurses that I decided to do some fundraising myself. At the weekend -Saturday- I went round to my cousins house for a sleepover!

My auntie LOVES baking, therefore, has all of the ingredients! Then, an idea popped into my head. We could bake cakes and sell them in the neighbourhood. Two of my cousins -the boy team- made chocolate cracknol (I will post the recipe tomorrow) and me and my other cousin (the girl team) made sponge cakes and decorated them with sprinkles and marshmallows.

When they had cooled, we set them neatly in a big floral tin and set off.  We sold them for 50p each (but you could donate more) and with 24 cakes we raised £15! On Monday I took the money and handed it into school, so they could post it off with all of the other money from the coffe morning! I just want to thank all of the people who brought one of our cupcakes, I hope you liked them.
